Karim Benzema seems ready to feature in El Clásico

Thursday morning training at the Valdebebas training complex was boosted by the full participation of Benzema and Pepe, as the Real Madrid team continue their preparations ahead of El Clásico on Sunday.

Both players trained without any problems, under the close observation of manager Carlo Ancelotti, signalling that they will be available for selection against Barcelona. Good news for the Italian coach, particularly in the case of Benzema, who had been a serious doubts following his crunch with Cristiano in last weekend’s win at Málaga.

All the players who participated in the win against Schalke, were also present, though Cristiano Ronaldo and Ángel Di María weren’t part of the group out on the training pitch, continuing their preparations in the interior facilities at Valdebebas, focusing more on gym work.
