Man City keeping tabs on young Sevilla star, Alberto Moreno
Alberto Moreno has gained no shortage of admirers, with excellent form at Sevilla this season that has also propelled him to the Spanish national team. Whilst Real Madrid have strongly been linked with the player for some time, Manchester City are also paying close attention.
Sevilla face another battle to keep hold of their prized assets this summer, after the money-spinning sales of Álvaro Negredo and Jesus Navas to Manchester City, last time around.
Indeed, it now appears that Manchester City are preparing a return visit to Sevilla, as they assemble their shopping list ahead of next season. According to sports portal, Estadio Deportivo, their sporting director Txiki Beguiristain has been keeping a close eye on the highly talented Alberto Moreno.
The 21-year-old was under even closer scrutiny, when Beguiristain visited the Do Dragao last week to observe Alberto Moreno in action for Sevilla, against FC Porto in the Europa League.
Real Madrid have been widely acknowledged as the keenest of admirers, though they could now face serious competition from the English Premier League side, particularly if as expected, Alberto Moreno makes the final Spain squad for the World Cup this summer.
