Atletico Madrid striker, Diego Costa insists he has no desire to leave Atletico Madrid and was excited to promote the club’s summer tour to North America.

In a promotional event for the club’s pre-season summer tour of North America, Costa spoke about last year’s experience.

“For me, it was a new experience because I’d never been there and I felt the love of the people.”

Costa then spoke about his thoughts ahead of Wednesday evening’s Champions League semi-final against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

“I’m not nervous. Something very nice is coming.

“This match will be different. They have to come on a little stronger. We will come out in the best possible way because we have the incentive.

“La Liga or Champions League? The most important thing is winning the match. In La Liga, it’s ours to lose.”

Costa concluded by stating that he didn’t hear the chants from the Chelsea fans saying “See you next year,” but doesn’t care as he’s happy at Atleti.

“I didn’t understand anything. I heard my name and asked what they said. I wasn’t paying much attention. But I’m very happy here.”
