Former Barcelona B and current Celta Vigo manager, Luis Enrique is being highly touted as the man to take over for Tata Martino, should the Argentine leave Barcelona this summer, and despite earlier reports that his buy-out clause was set as €3 million, it is now being revealed that the former Roma coach could leave Cetla for free.

According to Barcelona-based sports daily, Mundo Deportivo, Enrique, upon signing his contract with Celta Vigo last summer made the contract for just one year, with an option for an additional year, which would allow him to leave and join Barcelona, while Barcelona wouldn’t have to pay anything to their La Liga rivals, like they would’ve had to last season.

According to the report, Enrique has informed Celta of his intention to leave the club should Barcelona come calling.

Lucho is unwilling to make any kind announcement so as not to end his season on a sour note, nor is Barcelona, who still fully back Masrtino.
