After struggling all season with discomfort and constant pain from a groin injury, Athletic Club Bilbao striker Aritz Aduriz will undergo surgery on May 16 to repair the problem.
It has been a long season for Athletic Club Bilbao striker Aritz Aduriz who has spent the entire season battling an ongoing problem in his groin which has caused several bouts of pain and discomfort for the 33-year-old.
Despite the groin issues, Aduriz has managed to score 16 goals this season, leading Athletic Club in scoring and helping the Basque giants secure a fourth place finish and Champions League play for next season.
Yet now that the season is coming to an end, Athletic Club have officially announced that Aduriz will undergo surgery on his groin in Munich, Germany on May 16 which will rule him out of the final match of the season and will hopefully put an end to the striker’s ailment.
Dr. Ulrike Muschaweck, who has a rich history of addressing athletic groin injuries, will be the one to perform the operation on Aduriz next Friday.
