Valencia reportedly hoping to negotiate move for Thorgan Hazard

Valencia are reportedly hoping to negotiate a move for 21-year-old Belgian midfielder, Thorgan Hazard, who was just named the Belgian League’s Best Player of the Year following his successful loan spell at SV Zulte Waregem from Chelsea.


According to Valencia-based Spanish sports daily, Super Deporte, Joan Salvans, a representative for Valencia sporting director Rufete, who was been in Belgium for the past three days negotiating a possible move for Anderlecht defender, Cheikhou Kouyaté, has suggested that the club try and negotiate a deal for Hazard.

Thorgan, the younger brother of Chelsea Player of the Year, Eden Hazard, has proven himself worthy of taking the next step in his progression with both Liverpool and now Valencia expressing interest in taking the Belgian, while it is up to Chelsea to decide if they want to keep Thorgan next season or loan him out to a club with a higher level of play.
