Almeria and Marcos Tebar agree to part ways

Almeria and midfielder Marcos Tebar have mutually agreed terminate the 28-year-old’s contract with the club, making Tebar a free agent.


Tebar joined Almeria last summer from Girona, signing a two-year deal with the newly-promoted club.

During his one-year spell with the club, Tebar made 25 La Liga appearances, 16 of them starts.

However, after meeting at the end of the season, the two sides met and mutually agreed to forgo the remaining year on the player’s contract.

In an statement via the club’s official website, Almeria wished Tebar all the best in his future endeavours and thanked him for his year at the club.

“Almeria wish Marcos Tebar all the luck in his new sporting adventure and appreciate his professionalism and commitment to the club.”
