Valencia to take part in Emirates Cup

Valencia have announced they will travel to England to take part in this year’s Emirates Cup, hosted by Arsenal on August 2, as well as confirming trips to Germany and South America.


New manager Nuno Espirito Santo will first take his players to train in Germany where they will also play two friendlies against SpVgg Bayreuth and FC Nurnberg on July 15 and 19 respectively.

The squad will then head for South Amercia on July 23 as part of the 2014 Euro-American Cup, where Los Che face Alianza in Peru on July 26 and Universidad Católica on July 29 in Chile.

Los Murciélagos will take part in the Emirates Cup a few days later, where they clash with Monaco on August 2 and Portuguese champions Benfica a day later.
