Argentine international winger, Angel Di María was desperately working hard to be fit for Sunday’s 2014 World Cup final against Germany, but in Saturday’s training session, the 26-year-old experienced new pain in his injured hamstring and is doubtful for the match.

On Friday, the Real Madrid star was able to work with the ball and work with his teammates in light drills, giving the squad hope that the versatile playmaker will be in the starting line-up.
However, according to Spanish sports daily AS, as Di Maria was going through drills with his teammates, he came up injured, citing it was the same place as his previous right hamstring.
Argentina’s lead physician Dr. Daniel Martínez noted that Di Maria” Did normal group work like the rest of his teammates,” while omitting that he had re-injured the muscle.
Needless to say, Di Maria is doubtful for the crucial match, while manager Alejandro Sabella is expected to use the same line-up as he did against Holland.
