Angel Di Maria nearing PSG move
Real Madrid winger, Angel Di Maria is reportedly nearing a move to French Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint Germain after weeks of negotiations.
According to Spanish sports daily, AS, PSG’s Uruguayan striker, Edinson Cavani did not join the team on their pre-season tour to Hong Kong, with many believing that the former Napoli star is off to Manchester United in attempt to sign Di Maria while complying with the club’s current Financial Fair Play restrictions.
PSG blamed Cavani’s absense on the flu but the report goes on to add that Cavani would go out on loan for €10 million with a deal to make the move permanent next summer.
Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti is still campaigning for the Argentine international, who still remains on holiday following the 2014 World Cup, but with the €85 million of Colombian international James Rodriguez from AS Monaco a week ago sealed Di Maria’s fate at the Santiago Bernabeu.
