Finnbogason dislocated shoulder not as bad as feared for Real Sociedad

Icelandic striker Alfred Finnbogason suffered his injury during the Europa League match at Aberdeen on Thursday night, but initial tests say the dislocated shoulder doesn’t have any further complications.

Alfred Finnbogason, Real SociedadReal Sociedad have offered a medical report for Alfred Finnbogason, after the player suffered the misfortune of dislocating his shoulder, competing against Aberdeen in the Europa League.

Following more thorough examinations and tests, the Real Sociedad medical department were please to announce that the 25-year-old hasn’t suffered any further complications, with no signs of any fractures or additional problems in any of the bones around his shoulder.

The Basque club have stressed that as yet, it’s too soon to pin a date on when the player can expect a return to action, as they need to make further tests and prepare a treatment plan.
