A statement on Wednesday confirmed the contract termination of the forward, who made just 10 appearances for the Andalusians since joining from Vojvodina in January 2013.

Miroslav Stevanovic has terminated his contract with Sevilla FC, where he arrived in January 2013 from the Vojvodina. He only appeared for Sevilla in the second half of the 2012-14 season, playing seven games and 3 Copa del Rey contests.  He then went out on loan in 2013-14 to Elche and Alaves.

Stevanovic was brought in to reinforce the attack in Sevilla’s attempt to qualify for the Europa League, but the winger was unable to adapt to the Spanish game and featured very little when he did make it into the match and has since been deemed surplus to the requirement after two unsuccessful loan spells last season.
