Real Madrid have rejected the chance to AS Monaco striker, Radamel Falcao on the heels of reports that Los Blancos are preparing a €20 million bid to take the Colombian international on loan.
According to Calciomercato, Real Madrid and Monaco were closing in on a deal that would send the 28-year-old to Real Madrid for a €20 million fee with an option to buy.
However, Spanish radio station, Cadena COPE are reporting that AS Monaco offer Falcao to Real Madrid, but the reigning Champions League winners have rejected the chance to sign the former Atletico Madrid star and have informed the French Ligue 1 side that they have no interest in signing the player.
Reports are also circulating that Falcao has rejected the chance to join English Premier League side, Arsenal, who will be without starting striker Olivier Giroud until 2015.
With less than a week left in the summer transfer window, it’s unclear where Falcao will be by September 2nd.
