Barcelona Infantil stromed to victory in the Lennart Johansson Trophy this weekend, with one player in particular standing out – Korean Lee Seung Woo.

The Korean was first spotted by Barcelona scouts in Sout Africa and then further impressed them whilst playing for his Elementary school in the Korea Republic, where hs scored 29 goals in 16 games and was awarded the coveted MVP of the year award as a 13-year-old.

Now, at 14 after being signed by Barcelona and moved to the Catalonia region by the club, Seung Woo is profiting from some of the best coaches and coaching methods available in football today.

Barcelona’s Under 14 side Infantil A set off to play in the Lennart Johansson Trophy this weekend and won the competition, scoring 17 goals and conceding zero.

Seung Woo was the main attraction of the tournament, his flair and ability to beat players is very similar to Lionel Messi and that instantly makes him a crowd pleaser.

He impressed to say the least, scoring a brace in the semi-final against Dutch side Vitesse and then a goal in the final against Red Star Belgrade that Barca won 2-0.

The rumor is Barcelona have Seung Woo’s value set at £1m and if they think that highly of the Korean, and judging by his progress already, in a couple of years time Barcelona may have new superstar on their hands.
