Serbia’s Branislav Ivanovic revealed after his national squad’s 2-0 loss to Spain on Saturday that the 2012 La Liga champions are interested in signing him.

Real Madrid sees Ivanovic as a permenant solution at right-back with the ability to move to centre-back to cover Arbeloa or Carvalho, should the need arise.

“Yes, I know that a lot has been said about my future and that Madrid is interested and tracking me,”

However, the newly crowned Champions League champion declares that he is not thinking out moving, having just won arguably football’s greatest prize.

“I know that Madrid is interested, but now isn’t the time to be talking about that,” the Serbian defender stressed to

“I’m focused on the national team at the moment and I’m really happy at Chelsea and in London.

“I just won the Champions League a week ago and changing teams is not in my thoughts right now”.

However, rumours persist of Carvalho’s immenent departure, making Ivanovic even more appealing to Los Blancos.

“I really can’t say much more, right now I’m focused on Serbia and we’ll just have to wait and see.”

Ivanovic’s foul on Adridan gave Spain their second goal in a 2-0 win over Serbia on Saturday.
