Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho was so impressed by the 19-year-old midfielder in Brazil’s friendly against Denmark, that the club is reportedly close to wrapping up a deal within the next few days.

However, Madridistas will have to wait for the starlet’s debut at the Santiago Bernabeu as the club has agreed to the condition that the midfielder remain at Sao Paolo for another season to improve and prepare for European competition.

Inside Spanish Football has been following this story since the beginning several months ago, from Florentino Perez’ tour of the Bernabeu with Moura’s parents to the revelation of a loan to the player’s agent Wagner Ribiero from the Madrid president, to assist in his impending divorce.

Moreover, problems could arise due to Jose Mourinho’s insistence that Moura remain in Brazil for another year, as Sao Paolo may be eager to sell the player in return for a quick cash injection, allowing other interested parties such as; Chelsea and Inter Milan to negotiate deals for Moura.

Yet, Moura has insisted his desire to play for Los Blancos, making the deal extremely likely, despite the interest from other European clubs.
