Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia has stated that he is waiting to hear back from Real Madrid and Arsenal over a summer move.

Biglia, 26, has already told Belgian side Anderlecht of his intentions to leave the club this summer and has a buy-out clause of £10m, should a club want to buy him.

The Argentine international, who is a defensive midfielder, is under contract for another three years but his desire to leave the club has been buoyed by interest from Premier League side Arsenal and Spanish champions Real Madrid.

However, Biglia who spoke during a radio program at a local school near his home town in Argentina said: “There has been contact with Real, also with Arsenal and we are waiting.I have a contract with Anderlecht until June 2015, but the club knows that I intend to go.

“We have negotiated my release clause and If we get a club that pays, Anderlecht let me go.”

The 26-year-old has made only six caps for the Argentine national side.
