English club Everton have a completed a loan move for Real Madrid’s Royston Drenthe.

Drenthe, who joined Real Madrid in 2007 from Dutch club Feyenoord has only made 61 appearances for the Spanish club, most of which came from the subs bench.

He spent last season on loan at Hercules and was subject to alot of praise for his excellent performances but a fall out over wages saw him only make 16 appearances.

He will wear the number 10 shirt at Goodison Park.
