Iker Muniain celebrates Spanish Super Cup victory with new tattoo
Athletic Bilbao forward Iker Muniain showed off his newest tattoo celebrating the club’s Spanish Super Cup victory over Barcelona last month, despite the Spanish U21 captain being sidelined with injury.
On his social media accounts, Muniain shared the step by step photos as he received his newest tattoo, a Spanish Super Cup tattoo with the date 17-08-2015 to honour the club’s victory to bring a trophy back to Bilbao after 31 long years.
Athletic dominated Barcelona over two legs to claim their much-deserved victory and almost a month to the day, Munain saved the memory for all-time by getting his newest tattoro.
Muniain has been out of action for several months, which prevented him from even playing in the Spanish Super Cup, but the 22-year-old is not only a player for Athletic Club Bilbao, he is also one of their biggest and life-long fans.
However, Muniain has very little room left to celebrate if his side win La Liga, Copa del Rey or the Europa League this season.
