Guardiola : We are not unbeatable

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola was quick to insist his team are not unbeatable following the sides 5-0 hammering of Atletico Madrid on Saturday night.

Barcelona have been solid at home so far this season scoring 18 goals in three games in La Liga but they have drawn to AC Milan, Valencia and Real Sociedad, yes Barcelona are quality but Guardiola insisted that his team can not afford to let their standards slip.

“We are not unbeatable … any team can beat us,” Guardiola said. “But if we do things right the fans who come to watch us will have a good time, which is the most important thing.”

Speaking about the 5-0 win over Atletico, Guardiola went on : “We played very well, it was a lesson in concentration, but from tomorrow on we have to do it again. Let’s see if we’re able maintain this level. It’s this year’s challenge.”

“Messi was decisive again, you can only congratulate him. He’s a player that you don’t have to explain, you just have to watch him in action,” Guardiola said.
