A contender for Goal of the Season by Michel saw Levante steal all three points against Getafe on Sunday lunchtime.

The games only goal of the game came just minutes from time when 24-year-old Michel scored one of the goals of the season, finding the top corner of the net from 35 yards.

Levante keeper Gustavo Munua was the busier of the two at Coliseum Alfonso Perez, producing five important saves that could easily have seen the home side take the lead.

Pedro Leon, Alvaro Vazquez, Mehdi Lacen and Jaime Gavilan were all denied as Levante settled to counter attack and hit the hosts on the break.

And that they did when Michel popped up to unleash a 35-yard wonder goal that saw Getafe keeper Miguel Angel Moya beaten.
