Piti hoping Leo Baptistao fights off Man Utd interest

Rayo Vallecano forward Piti is hoping team-mate Leo Baptistao will not be tempted by the interest shown in him from Premier League club Manchester United and remain at the club.

Piti & BaptistaoThe Brazilian striker has been in sublime form this season, scoring six league goals so far but his performances have gained interest from the likes of Atletico Madrid and Man Utd.

The latter has been in close contact with Rayo and boss Sir Alex Ferguson recently sent his brother to cast a closer eye on the striker but Piti is hoping the youngster will remain at the club.

“Leo is tremendous. He gives us a lot because he loves to beat players, score goals and more,” he said.

“The truth is we can not ask for more off him, he can only continue to impress. He is very focused and wants be even better but I just hope that he stays with us all season.”
