Soldado and Valencia eager to face Real Madrid

Roberto Soldado has spoken of his eagerness to face Real Madrid as the two side’s face each other three times in ten days.

Roberto SoldadoThe Spain international grabbed two goals against Sevilla this weekend to take his tally to 11 and set the ball rolling for a Copa del Rey tie with Real Madrid on Tuesday night.

Valencia will face Madrid again in the league at the Mestalla on the weekend before meeting again next week and Soldado is excited about the trio of games.

“We are ready for those three games, and we will try to make things difficult because our form is now very good,” Soldado told reporters.

Since new coach Ernesto Valverde arrived on December 3rd, Valencia have won seven of their last eight games in all competitions.
