Gago features in Valencia’s Copa squad

Fernando Gago has returned from injury and is part of Ernesto Valverde’s Copa del Rey team to face Real Madrid on Tuesday night.

Fernando GagoThe Argentine midfielder has been linked with a move away from Mestalla this season with Boca Juniors showing huge interest but a move is yet to materialise and he is now ready to help Valencia try and beat Madrid on Tuesday night.

Valverde’s Valencia approach the game with Real Madrid in great form having just beaten Sevilla 2-0 on Saturday and the return to form of Roberto Soldado has been a plus.

However, Los Che are sweating over his fitness after he missed Monday’s training sessions as a precaution but they at least expect him to be able to play an hour.
