Javi Marquez will play against Espanyol

Mallorca’s Javi Marquez is fit enough to play against his former team Espanyol tonight.

Javi_Marquez_MallorcaIn some discomfort after picking up an ankle sprain which saw him miss the match against Real Valladolid, Mallorca’s midfielder Javi Marquez has been able to train normally again and is now available for selection against his former club.

Marquez joined in a custom workout session organised by coach Caparros and attended by: Luna, Ximo, Anderson, Fontàs, Minho, Pereira, Kevin, Hemed, Alfaro, Brandon and Julian De Guzman.

Josep Lluís Martí and Pedro Bigas, exercised in the gym and were not able to train with the main group. Bigas is suspended for the Espanyol game in any event.

Julian De Guzman’s brother Jonathan may find himself lining up alongside his sibling shortly. Currently at Premier League Swansea, the player is interesting Caparros and could be the second signing of the window for after Antonio Luna was captured from Seville.
