by Staff Writer | Posted on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

Barcelona can secure progression to the knockout stages of the Champions League with a win in Prague against Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday.

Barca coach Josep Guardiola will be in charge of his 200th competitive fixture and with a win could secure qualification to the knockout stages.

Just over two weeks ago, the two side met at the Camp Nou with Viktoria giving a good account of themselves despite losing 2-0 to the Catalans, however Barca are firing the goals in and Lionel Messi in particular is in fine form.

A couple of seasons ago, this tie would be classed as a potential banana skin for Barca but once again they seem to be in the form of their life.
