Takefusa Kubo : Barca’s New 10yr old Messi

Barcelona’s first Japanese player, Takefusa Kubo is exciting coaches at the club after the 10-year-old was the star at a youth tournament in Belgium.

Takefusa Kubo, was discovered in Barcelona footballing school in Yokohama, Japan, almost two years ago after videos of the youngster showing his skills flooded youtube.

Usually reluctant to sign Under-13’s Barcelona broken that and snapped the youngster up, Barca kept a close eye on Kubo and saw him star in a youth tournament before returning home to school in Japan.

Now, Kubo and his mother have moved to Spain and therefore Barca have signed the starlet, however he is not yet living in the training camp.

He is now in his first season in Europe and is representing Alevin C.
