According to Spanish radio station, Cadena SER, Navarro has joined the club in their pre-season camp in Huelva but is eagerly await an increased offer from the Seattle Sounders in order to complete the transfer.
Navarro has been at the top of the Sounder’s list for several weeks and the club would be willing to sell as Levante sporting director, Manolo Salvador has inquired on the availability and price of Granada centre-back, Borja Gomez to replace Navarro should he make the move to the States.
However, Granada president, Quique Pina prefers to send the player on loan to Hercules, rather than sell him to direct rivals in the battle for survival in the Primera.
As of now, there has been no movement on the transfer of Navarro, after the initial offer by the Sounders was rejected by the club, but the 33-year-old and MLS side are still keen on completing a deal and willing to work together to finalise the transfer.
