BREAKING: Valencia have completed €30 million transfer of Roberto Soldado to Tottenham

Valencia have completed  €30 million transfer of striker Roberto Soldado to Tottenham Hotspur, where Spurs will pay  €12 million up front,  €6 million in March 2014, 2015, 2016.

roberto-soldado-no-quiere-abandonar-el-valencia_47631According to local Valencia journalist, Fran Guaita of Cadena SER, after weeks of negotiations between the two sides, Tottenham have agreed to pay the requested €30 million price tag for the 28-year-old Spanish interntional.

Valencia president, Amadeo Salvo continuously reiterated that the price for Soldado was €30 million and refused to accept anything less and spoke to the media on Wednesday to confirm that the two sides had reached an agreement, but there were several factors standing in the way.

“The agreement with Tottenham is complete.

“A problem with the agents has emerged, [once resolved] he will go.”

Soldado will now join the host of other Spaniards joining the English Premier League has Valencia now look to sign Real Zaragoza striker, Helder Postiga as his replacement.

Valencia purchased Soldado from Getafe for €10 million in 2010 and the now former captain led them to several Champions League spots and top four finishes, but never any serious hardware in his time at La Mestalla.
