In an early season addition of the Madrid Derby, both Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano come into this match in top form and looking to add to the three points they both earned in Week One.

Atletico Madrid comes out with a strong line-up, despite being engrossed in the Spanish SuperCopa against Barcelona last week and this coming week for the second leg.  Simeone has left out Mario Suarez and Koke in favour of Raul Garcia and Tiago.

Rayo Vallecano have no choice but to put out their top line-up, spearheaded by former Real Valladolid midfielder, Alberto Bueno.
