Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted poorly to the sale of Mesut Özil to Arsenal, after hearing of the news whilst with the Portuguese squad.

CristianoThe Portuguese media are reporting that Cristiano Ronaldo is far from happy with the decision of Real Madrid, to sell Mesut Özil to Arsenal.

Whilst training with the Portuguese squad, Cristiano was captured in a huddle with Real Madrid team-mates Pepe and Fabio Coentrao, saying: “Özil leaving is bad news for me. He was the player who best knew my moves in front of goal.”

Other Portuguese team-mates revealed that they noted Cristiano was visibly unhappy during the training session, when they later spoke to the local media, claiming that he kept repeating that he was “angry at Özil leaving” Real Madrid.

Such thoughts from Cristiano are not without reason though. Last season, more than half of his goals were assisted by none other than the German international.
