Barcelona’s Martin Montoya targeted by Tottenham, Liverpool and Roma
Barcelona right-back, Martino Montoya will be free to negotiate with any team as of 1st January and Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Roma are all waiting with baited breathe as contract negotiations continue to drag on.
Montoya has been fighting for the past several seasons to see more minutes, but playing behind arguably the best right-back in world football, Dani Alves, has prevented the 22-year-old from realizing his enormous potential.
New reports from Spain suggest that Barcelona and Montoya have re-started contract negotiations in earnest to try and secure a contract deal before the other three teams are allowed to steal the La Masia graduate from the club.
Meanwhile, the aforementioned trio will be closely monitoring the contract renewal negotiations in hopes of convincing the player to join their side as early as this winter.
Montoya have played in 8 La Liga matches this season, more than Dani Alves, who has been out injured for good parts of the season.
