Real Betis reportedly make €750,000 loan offer for Valencia’s Dorlan Pabon
Real Betis are reportedly close to landing Valencia’s Dorlan Pabon for the second winter in a row after the Andalusian club offered Los Che €750,00 to take the Colombian on a six-month loan, in their desperate attempt to stave off relegation.
According to Spanish radio station, Cadena SUR, after months of pursuing Pabon, Betis may finally land their man as the beleaguered striker has been given the all-clear by new manager, Juan Antonio Pizzi to join Betis after unproductive four-months at Mestalla.
Pabon is desperate for a starting role in order to increase his chances of making it onto Colombia’s loaded 2014 World Cup squad and is eager to return to Betis, the place where he’s had the most success in his career.
The report goes on to state that Pabon could be welcomed back to Betis in the coming days as new Singaporean investor, Peter Lim looks to bring in €35-40 million in talent this January with Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko being his top prospect.
