Spanish national team manager, Vicente Del Bosque has once again spoke about the chances of Real Madrid’s breakout star, Jesé making it on the squad for the 2014 World Cup, stating that the youngster is one of the very few U-21 stars that could make the trip to Brazil this summer.

In a recent interview, Del Bosque spoke highly of Jesé, but also admitted that Jesé gets more attention because he plays for Real Madrid.

“Jesé is one of a few U-21 players with a chance. He has a bigger resonance because he plays for Real Madrid. Time will tell if he makes it to the World Cup.”‘

Del Bosque then spoke about the Copa del Rey final between arch-rivals, Real Madrid and Barcelona and feels that it’ll be a good game, while not giving the edge to his former club Real Madrid and remaining neutral.

“It’ll be a great final. They both deserve to be there, but it would be good with other clubs too.  Both have great firepower and big quality squads, which is why they are dominating Spanish football.”

Del Bosque concluded by praising Atletico Madrid, who are also worthy of a mention after all they have accomplished so far this season.

“There is a lot of merit in what the team is achieving. It’s fantastic what they’re doing and it’s very good for Spanish football. It’s very difficult to compete with the big two and Atlético is doing a fine job.”
