Luis Aragonés will be emotionally remembered at the match between Spain and Italy on Wednesday night, with a huge shirt at the Vicente Calderón installed, acting as a book of remembrance for fans to sign.

Following the death of a loved one, a book of remembrance is often present for friends and family, for them to sign and give their thoughts about the passing of the one they knew, with memories of times shared and messages of condolence.

In a similar vein, a huge Spain shirt bearing the number 8 and the name of former national team manager Luis Aragonés, has been installed outside the Vicente Calderón, ahead of the match against Italy on Wednesday night.

Hundreds of fans have already paid their respects to Aragonés by adding their signatures to the shirt, but more will be able to do so, when they attend the game tonight.

Ahead of what will be an emotional game for the Spanish national team, following the death of Aragonés and particularly with it being played at the Vicente Calderón, soprano Mariola Cantarero will sing a rendition of Ave María on the pitch.

The following video via sefutbol.com shows fans adding their signatures and messages.
