Barcelona have joined Arsenal and Chelsea in the race for Olympique Marseille’s 22-year-old defender Nicolas N’Koulou.

N’Koulou has been one of the revelations of the French championship this season with some commanding performances at the back, culminating in a man of the match award in the game against Lyon.

According to reports, Barca are keen to take the player in January and it’s clear that he will add something that the Blaugrana are currently missing. At £15m the player represents good value and is well within the price that Barcelona are willing to pay.
