Del Bosque: I work every day, Mou should come see for himself

Spanish national team manager, Vicente del Bosque rebuffed comments made by Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho that he has plenty of time on his hands as a national team manager, as the World and European champion manager insisted that he works everyday, even if the squad doesn’t have a much until February.

Mourinho was recently asked to predict who would win the FIFA Ballon d’Or trophy for the best manager between himself, former Barcelona manager, Pep Guardiola and del Bosque, to which the Portuguese boss responded that he doesn’t have time to think about such things, but that the other two have plenty of time on their hands.

“That’s a good question to ask Guardiola and Del Bosque. Guardiola is on holiday and has a lot of time to think. Del Bosque is off for the next three months, he doesn’t have a match until February, whereas I have three this weekend. I don’t have time to think about that.”

However, del Bosque has fired back and invited Mourinho to spend a day with him on the job, as he recently stated in an interview with Spanish radio station, COPE, he works daily from 9:30 on at the Spanish FA.

“I work every day. If you want, come to the Spanish FA at 9:30 in the morning and you can see for yourself.

“I can’t judge what he said, I stay on top of everything. People can take it however they want, but when I heard Mourinho’s words, I could only smile, because it’s a fact that we’re not in action again until February.”
