Fox falsely declares Messi dead

On the Fox Sports twitter account on Sunday, the sports network announced the untimely death of Barcelona striker, Lionel Messi.

The network quickly deleted the tweet and proceded with business as usual, not mentioning the incident or issuing any statement.
“We announce the sad news that Lionel Messi died of cardiopulmonary arrest during a workout”, the message posted by Fox Sports read.
However, these reports were obviously dubious, as Messi was with his teammates, celebrating their four titles won this season.
Thank god, it is a fake news, I am not a supporter or fan of Messi, but as a fan of football I really don’t want a champion like Messi to be lost at this stage.
