Celta Vigo boss Paco Herrera has heaped praise on Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao as his side prepare to face the Colombian on Friday night.

Paco-HerreraThe 59-year-old is fully aware of Falcao’s talents after watching his spectacular performances for Atletico this season and he directed his praise at the Colombian before touching on his side’s chances of a victory.

“Falcao is the best number 9,” he told a press conference. “Another I love is Karim Benzema, although he is more of an old-fashioned striker and does not have a finishers brain like Falcao.

“We’ll have to do very well to defend against him because in the area he is a phenom.

“He is obviously a very special player, but we will also have to pay attention to Diego Costa and Adrian.”
