Iniesta sidelined 10-15 days with quad strain, Alba out two weeks with tonsillitis
Barcelona is suffering the full meaning of the ‘FIFA Virus’ as the Blaugrana will be without the services of the UEFA Best Player of Europe, Andres Iniesta, after he suffered a strained quad in his right leg and left-back, Jordi Alba has been ruled out for two weeks with tonsilitis.

The Barcelona medical staff announced that the midfielder would be out of action for Saturday`s match against Getafe, and would continue to monitor the progress of the injury, but ruled that it would be 10-15 days before he could return to full squad training.
The timeframe means that he could also be out of Barcelona`s Champions League debut match against the former Valencia manager, Unai Emery`s Spartak Moscow squad on 19 September at the Camp Nou.
Jordi Alba has also been sidelined with Tonsillitis, and has been ruled out for at least two weeks, or until he is completely healthy.
Adriano will be his likely replacement, as the Brazilian escaped a prolonged ban after receiving a red card in the 2nd leg of the Spanish Super Cup.
Alba and Iniesta played all 90 minutes in both matches for the Spanish national squad, which will undoubtedly draw criticism from the Barcelona front office, who already expressed displeasure with Brazil playing right-back, Dani Alves in their meaningless friendly matches.
