According to Goal.com, Juventus have presented the final €4 million offer, and have given Athletic Bilbao president, Josu Urrutia until Friday to make his decision.
Urrutia already revealed several weeks ago that the club were in talks with Juventus over the transfer of Llorente, but it now appears that Juve are putting pressure on the Basques to get a deal done for the end of the month.
Juventus are even willing to add an additional €300,000 to the deal, should they win the Serie A title again this season and are hoping to add Llorente as a featured presence up front.
Urrutia appears to be holding firm to Llorente’s release clause as a matter of principal and pride, after letting Javi Martinez leave for Bayern Munich last summer.
If Juventus are unable to convince Athletic to sell Llorente, they will turn their attention to Italian U-20 and Genoa star, Giro Inmobile as a temporary replacement, before negotiating with Llorente for free this summer.
