Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho stated that no one was a fault for his side’s 0-0 draw with then league worst, Osasuna at the Reyno de Navarro on Saturday evening, but was uncertain if goalkeeper, Iker Casillas would start against Valencia in their next match, despite keeping a clean sheet.

Mourinho____09.470x0In his post-match press conference, Mourinho liked the attitude of the team and praised his makeshift defence, but was not certain about the future of Casillas between the sticks.

“I won’t talk about casualties but we’ve had players injured for a month or two. I’m not going to make excuses. I liked the attitude of the team.  I think there were players who played a great game.  I think Coentrao and Albol had a great game and deserve mention because they have not played for a long time due to their injuries. They returned in a very demanding game and played very well.

“I do not want to explain anything, but this began in the early rounds.  A lot of things happened that I do not want to talk about  because it is not worth. Then, when one sees he is not under pressure and one sees that he will not get there … It’s a matter of motivation.

“It’s not easy to create chances here, although I think we had enough to score.  I liked Casillas’ game against Celta, today he barely had a chance to touch the ball, but in both matches he played, the defensive played well.  It’s still too early to decided if Casillas will start against Valencia.”
