Negredo: If we break, more problems will come
Sevilla striker, Alvaro Negredo was under no illusions of the status of his squad, after they have failed to put in consistent performances and dropping vital points that now see them mid-table.

“We realize that together we can pull ourselves out of this. We’ve done it before and with the right attitude we can do it again. Obviously nobody wants s to do poorly and we know we have to work together, both on the field and off. If we come apart, it creates more problems; things said in the locker room will affect our performance on the field.
“We are clam. We know we did things right against Malaga in the first half, but we were unlucky in front of the goal. Without doing anything in the second half, they scored a goal and took us down. To score a goal with so little effort is deflating and while we fought until the end, we lost some of our strength.
“We didn’t look at the table when we were up and we don’t look at it when we are down either. We are calm and we know what we are doing. We don’t feel as if we are playing poorly, because we are doing a lot of things right.”
