Osasuna give Lamah permission to negotiate transfer to Swansea
Posted by TomConn on January 14th, 2013 11:00 AM | News, Primera LigaOsasuna have given midfielder, Ronald Lamah permission to negotiate a transfer to English Premier League side, Swansea City, as the Welsh side have targeted the Belgian as a perfect fit for their system.

According to Spanish sports daily, Marca, Lamah left for England on Sunday and is expected to return to Pamplona in the next several days, while Osasuna must not undergo a search to replace him at the midfield position.
Osasuna do not have a large budget, making the search for a replacement with the level of quality and experience as Lamah and at an affordable price, a nearly impossible task at this point in the season.
Following their 0-0 draw with Real Madrid on Saturday evening, Osasuna will return to work on Wednesday as they prepare to face fellow bottom-dwellers, Deportivo La Coruna in Pamplona on 20th January.
It is unknown at this time whether Lamah will be with the squad for their clash against Deportivo, or if the deal is expected to close midweek.

Defensive midfielder? Isn’t he more of a foward-midfielder/winger?
Yes, sorry about that. Meant midfielder as stated in the lead sentence, typed defensive midfielder for some unknown reason. Corrected, thank you for pointing out the error.
