Sevilla lost 2-1 to Real Sociedad to end a disastrous first half of the season in a game that featured the club’s sixth sending off in just five games.

2A second half striker from Alberto De la Bella proved enough as Real Sociedad compounded even more misery on a struggling Sevilla side.

The visitors had the better chances in the early goings but Carlos Vela fired the hosts in front after neat build up play between him and Antoine Griezmann.

Michel’s side then bounced back as Gary Medel, Geoffrey Kondogbia and Jesus Navas all came close.

They would eventually find the leveler after 49 minutes when Medel got on the end of Navas’s cross to fire past keeper Zubikarai.

However, the hosts regained the lead when De la Bella netted from close range with 20 minutes remaining.

The visitors searched once again for he leveler but instead turned ugly as Coke was sent off to make it six red cards in five games.
