Tello renews his contract with Barcelona

Having principally agreed terms earlier in December, on Thursday the club announced the new contract will be signed next Monday

Securing the longer-term future of another product of their renown cantera, Barcelona have announced that Cristian Tello will sign a new contract with the club.

The new contract will see him tied to the club until 2016 and includes a release clause of €10 million.

Tello has featured increasingly in the first-teams and after previous talks broke down in the summer, both the club and the player will be happy to have finally reached a conclusion.

The young forward has continued his impressive progress this season, featuring more regularly in the league, Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
