Voro: We must be willing to continue growing
Valencia assistant and interim manager, Voro, praised his squad in their 0-1 Champions League win over Lille, stating that the team has changed their image from the past several weeks of extremely poor play, which led to the sacking of former manager, Mauricio Pellegrino.

In his post-match press conference, Voro was proud of his squad for their incredible effort after a tumultuous week on and off the pitch, but insisted that they must continue to build on this win and improve.
“The first half was good, the second, not so much. We were invested in the match; I must congratulate the team for their efforts, although in the second half they were superior to us.
“We cannot stand alone in the final minutes. We must be willing to continue growing. However, the important thing is winning and we must do that this Saturday in Pamplona against Osasuna.”
Voro will not hand over the reins to new manager, Ernesto Valverde, who will make his Valencia managerial debut on Saturday evening.
